MTKC is ecstatic to be putting on “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” to kick off the 2025-2026 season. This show is a Tony Award-winning, witty, and heartwarming musical about a quirky group of six middle-schoolers who compete in a fictional regional spelling bee, sharing their humorous and poignant personal stories along the way. Run by three eccentric adults, the fast-paced show features audience participation, with four volunteers invited on stage to join the competition, ensuring a unique and unpredictable experience at every performance. The musical celebrates the ups and downs of growing up, the pressures of achievement, and the discovery of self-acceptance.
